The University of North Georgia (UNG) is a public university located in Dahlonega, Georgia. Types of Degrees
There are a few different types of degrees you can earn online at the University of North Georgia. You can earn an associate degree through our online program, or complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in either an online or on-campus program. You can also complete a doctoral degree online.
The University of North Georgia offers several online associate degrees that you can earn in about 18 months. The associate degrees you can earn through our online program include: web development and design, business administration, criminal justice, health information management, and liberal arts and sciences.
You can also complete a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an online or on-campus program at the University of North Georgia. Our online bachelor’s and master’s degrees include: business administration, computer information systems, education leadership and policy studies, health information management, human resources management, marketing intelligence and planning, nursing assistant studies, physical therapy assistant studies, public relations/communications/marketing specialist studies, psychologyassistant studies and sociologyassistant studies.
You can also complete a doctoral degree online at the University of North Georgia. Our doctoral programs include: business administration with concentrations in finance and accounting; criminal justice; education leadership; engineering; health care management; marketing intelligence and planning; public relations/communications/marketing specialist; psychology; sociology.

UNG Library Catalog – This catalog contains information on books, articles, and other materials that can be searched by subject. It is also the source for finding information on library privileges and borrowing policies.
UNG eLearning – This website offers online course offerings from the university’s main departments, as well as numerous programs offered through outside providers. These range from certificate to degree programs.
Student Portal – The Student Portal provides access to student directories, grades, transcripts, and more. It can be found at www.ungonline.com/studentportal/.
Blackboard – Blackboard is a learning management system used by many colleges and universities around the world. It allows students to create courses and manage their classes using a web-based interface.
Financial Aid
Financial aid is a big part of the University of North Georgia experience. The Office of Financial Aid offers a variety of options to students, including grants and scholarships, loans, and work-study opportunities.
The Office of Financial Aid also offers a payment plan option for students who may not have the money available to pay their entire tuition bill at once. This plan allows students to spread out their payments over several months or years.
The Office of Financial Aid also offers assistance in applying for financial aid programs. They can help you determine your eligibility for specific types of aid, give you advice on how to maximize your awards, and help you complete the application process.

Course Catalog: The Course Catalog is divided into four sections – Undergraduate Programs; Graduate Programs; Continuing Education Programs;and Professional Development Programs – each with its own set of menus and links. You can also search for courses by subject or number. If you are looking for a course that is not listed in the Course Catalog but is offered at UNG, you can use the UNG Course Request Form to submit your request to add a course to our catalog.

The University of North Georgia offers a variety of online resources that students can use to help them with their studies. The ecore login is a user account that allows students to access many of the university’s online resources.
To sign in to the ecore, students will need their UG ID and password. Once they have logged in, they can access the following resources: MyUng, MyCampus, MyLearning Commons, and myUng Library.
MyUng is the main portal for the university’s online resources. It contains information about classes, campus news, and events. In addition, it allows students to register for courses, view their grades and transcripts, and contact professors.
MyCampus is a section of MyUng that contains information about the university’s buildings and campuses. It includes directions to each campus, student services directories, and detailed maps of all of the university’s buildings.
MyLearning Commons is a section of MyUng that contains materials that are available to all UNG students. This includes course materials, software downloads, and articles from academic journals.
myUng Library is an online resource library that contains books and journal articles from UNG’s libraries on both campuses.
